Pure Metals and Metals Alloys

Pure metal-based alloy materials are used in many thermal sprays for coating processes such as metalizing and spray & fuse hard facing. Pure metal based alloy is used to provide protection against a high temperature of wear and oxidation for a simple coating that facilitates build-up repair.

Popular Pure Metal-Based Alloy Coating Materials

NI-101 (Atomized)

The NI 101 powder is easy to machine and it produces moderate hard and dense coating over the surface. This atomized powder is useful up to 1000°F. The NI101 contains corrosion resistance and good oxidation properties. This is used for ceramic bond coating and useful to repair SS and Ni parts.

NI-105 (Atomized)

The NI 105 powder has good bonding characteristics and used to produce a smooth and bright coating on the substrate. This powder is used to facilitate general repairs of parts and resist corrosive gases up to 1800°F.

Molybdenum Based (Mo-Based) Alloys

Mo based alloys have some properties which make it useful in the manufacturing process of heat exchanger units and rocket engine components for many applications.
